Florida State offered a scholarship to 2027 three-star cornerback Kamoni Adams in May of 2025. However, he hadn't been to Tallahassee until recently. That changed on Saturday when the 6-foot, 170-pounder came on campus.

First impressions are everything, and FSU did about as well as any program could do besides getting a commitment. Per Noles247, Adams has named Florida State the top school in his recruitment. Also, he's set an official visit on June 12.

The Seminoles are leading a group of around 30 schools when it comes to Adams. Ole Miss, Auburn, Arkansas, Tennessee, Texas A&M, Georgia Tech, SMU, and more have extended offers to him as well. Arkansas is the only other contender with an official visit, and that will take place on May 29.

Adams played in 12 games as a junior for Kell High School in Marietta, Georgia. He produced 19 tackles and one interception.

247Sports doesn't have a ranking for Adams. Rivals' industry rankings have him listed as the No. 1,068 player nationally, the No. 98 cornerback, and the No. 110 prospect in the state of Georgia.
