Jacksonville State football coach Charles Kelly will get some extra cash for getting the Gamecocks to the Conference USA title game.

The Gamecocks coach earned a bonus of $25,000 for getting the Gamecocks to the title game, according to his term sheet that was obtained by the Gadsden Times. With a win, Kelly would earn another $25,000.

The Gamecocks will take on Kennesaw State on Friday at AmFirst Stadium in the first Conference USA title game with Kelly. The game will kick off at 6:05 p.m. CT on CBS Sports Network.

Thanks to getting the Gamecocks to a 8-4 with a bowl appearance waiting, Kelly will also get at least $15,000 more in bonuses. If the Gamecocks win their bowl game, he will get $25,000.

The Gamecocks are looking to defend its Conference USA title that the program won under Rich Rodriguez in 2024.
