Cheapest Ticket For Ohio State vs. Texas Is Insane

The college football world is in for a treat this Saturday when No. 1 Ohio State takes on No. 4 Texas in the Lone Star State.

When Ohio State hosted Texas last season, Ryan Day’s defense limited Arch Manning to 170 passing yards, a touchdown and an interception. Although nothing is guaranteed in sports, we’d have to imagine Texas will give a much better performance at home.

ESPN’s “College GameDay” will be in Austin to preview this matchup between perennial College Football Playoff contenders. It’s already been announced that “Top Gun: Maverick” actor Glen Powell will be the celebrity guest picker for this weekend’s show.

If you want to attend this epic matchup, you have to be willing to spend top dollar.

As of Friday night, the cheapest ticket for Ohio State vs. Texas is around $468. That won’t get you a great view at DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium, but it’ll get you in the door.

Who has the edge in this game?

Oddsmakers have the Longhorns as slight favorites since they have home-field advantage. ESPN’s computer model is also siding with Steve Sarkisian’s squad, giving them a 59.6% chance of winning the game.

If Texas wants to get revenge for last year’s loss, it’s imperative Manning takes care of the football.

We’d have to imagine the winner of this matchup will be No. 1 in the updated AP top 25.
