The final edition of the US LBM Coaches Poll's regular-season rankings is out following college football's rivalry week action, and once again, there has been some shuffling among the top 25 teams.
While the Ohio State Buckeyes and Indiana Hoosiers held onto the two top spots, respectively, this week, the Georgia Bulldogs, Oregon Ducks, Ole Miss Rebels and Texas Tech Red Raiders all moved up a spot, respectively, after the Texas Longhorns beat the Texas A&M Aggies — who dropped four spots to No. 7 — on Friday night.
The rest of the top 10 features the No. 8 Oklahoma Sooners, No. 9 Notre Dame Fighting Irish and No. 10 Alabama Crimson Tide — all of whom remained where they were last week.
The Southeastern Conference has eight member schools among the top 25 in addition to the aforementioned teams, with the Vanderbilt Commodores (No. 12), Texas (No. 14) and the Tennessee Volunteers (No. 24) rounding out the top of the list. The Missouri Tigers landed at a de facto No. 27 ranking with 73 votes.
The Florida Gators, who prevailed over the FSU Seminoles on Saturday, 40-21, finished the regular season with a 4-8 record and zero votes in the US LBM Coaches Poll.
