Citrus Bowl opt-outs: Which Michigan, Texas football players are sitting out?

For the second consecutive season, Texas and Michigan will meet against each other, this time in the Citrus Bowl at Camping World Stadium in Orlando, Florida.

It’s a bowl game headlined by the quarterback matchup with Texas’ Arch Manning and Michigan’s Bryce Underwood. The two playmakers were the No. 1-ranked overall players in their respective recruiting classes, according to 247Sports Composite rankings.

But it’s also a game in which both Wolverines interim coach Biff Poggi and Longhorns coach Steve Sarkisian will have to rely on their depth due to numerous player opt-outs from the game.

From players prepping for the NFL draft and players leaving via the transfer portal, here’s what to know on which players are opting out of the Citrus Bowl:
