It’s a busy week for Notre Dame Football. The Irish are wrapping up with spring football by playing in the Blue-Gold Game this Saturday, and beginning Thursday night, the NFL Draft will consume most football fans with its 3 days of coverage.

It’s wild to think that Notre Dame will likely have six players drafted in the NFL Draft, but they will still have the most returning starters in the country (along with Oregon and Maryland).

Rivals updated its Rivals 300 Rankings and there are some notable names that are 5-Stars in the top 18. Both DL David Folorunsho and DE Abraham Sesay are big Notre Dame targets, and some insiders have the Irish leading for both.

DAY OF DREAD

While a lot of Irish fans look forward to the new The Shirt every spring, I am not one of them. It’s almost always (without fail) just an awful looking garment that would be better served as a tuna fish net. BUT… a lot of fans love it, so get ready (or don’t).

ALMOST LIKE THE SACRAMENT OF CONFIRMATION

I’m not sure how many different outlets have now done a piece about Marcus Freeman’s decision to stay at Notre Dame rather than make a move to the NFL — but it’s been a lot. So much so, that you kind of have to take what he’s saying as gospel and that he means it when he talks about how good he has it at Notre Dame and that he’s not going anywhere. Yes, he rejects the works of Satan.
