The Wisconsin Badgers football program has had a few down seasons, but it is still in the running for a couple of big class of 2027 targets.

One of those is three-star offensive lineman Reed Gerken. 247Sports' Tom Loy reports he's "inching toward a final decision" and has 10 visits set up in the coming months.

The only visits he didn't announce dates for are Ohio State and Illinois. The Badgers are far from the only Big Ten team in the mix, though they have a clear advantage as they're set to host his first visit of the summer.

Gerka, a 6-foot-5, 290-pound OT, is set to come to Madison on March 20. He'll have a week to process what went down with the Badgers before he heads to a fellow Big Ten school, Michigan State, on the 28th. His month ends in Tennessee on the 30th, before a busy month of April, which consists of visits to North Carolina, NC State, Virginia Tech, Cincinnati, and Kentucky in the span of six days.

Wisconsin already has a class of 2027 commitment from three-star in-state offensive tackle Ethan McIntosh.
