Clemson football vs South Carolina rivalry won't be televised on ESPN or ABC

The annual rivalry between the Clemson Tigers and South Carolina Gamecocks in Week 14 of the 2025 college football season won't be televised on either ABC or ESPN.

The ACC on Monday announced start times and TV channel information for its Week 14 "Rivalry Week" slate. As previously announced, Clemson (5-5 overall, 4-4 conference) will face South Carolina (3-7, 1-7) at noon ET from Williams-Brice Stadium in Columbia. However, the game will be televised on SEC Network instead of ABC or ESPN.

Back in the spring, ESPN had tentatively announced Clemson-South Carolina as either an ABC or ESPN broadcast. The game fell to SEC Network with both the Tigers and Gamecocks having disappointing seasons.

Clemson will need to win one of its final two games to qualify for a bowl game, while South Carolina became ineligible for a bowl after suffering its seventh loss of the season on Saturday.

The Tigers are coming off a 20-19 upset win over No. 21 Louisville last Friday at L&N Federal Credit Union Stadium.

Adam Randall had two rushing touchdowns, including the go-ahead score on fourth-and-goal from the 1-yard line with 7:16 remaining. Randall finished with 132 all-purpose yards (105 rushing, 27 receiving). Cade Klubnik threw for 187 yards on 22 of his 34 passing attempts.

Clemson will face Furman this Saturday at 4:30 p.m. ET. The game will be televised on The CW.

South Carolina suffered an embarrassing 31-30 loss to Texas A&M at Kyle Field on Saturday following an epic second-half collapse in which the Gamecocks blew a 30-3 halftime lead over the Aggies.
