Clemson remains unranked in the latest US LBM Coaches Poll following Week 11, still receiving zero votes despite its 24-10 win over Florida State. The Tigers improved to 4-5 with the victory, showing their most complete performance of the season, but their early-season struggles continue to weigh heavily on how voters view them.
The ACC continues to feature prominently in the rankings, with five teams earning national recognition. Georgia Tech leads the way at No. 12, followed by Miami at No. 16, Virginia at No. 19, Louisville at No. 21, and Pitt rounding out the group at No. 23. The league’s overall strength has helped boost its national profile, but Clemson’s inconsistency has kept it from joining the mix.
For Dabo Swinney’s program, the lack of poll recognition highlights how steep the climb has become after years of being a fixture in the Top 10. Still, Saturday night’s win was a step in the right direction. The Tigers played disciplined, complementary football on both sides of the ball, holding the nation’s top-ranked offense to just 10 points while controlling the tempo for most of the game. Clemson will look to build on that momentum as it prepares for a short week and a challenging Friday night matchup at Louisville.
