Coaches Poll Prediction Week 12: What Happens After Big ACC Losses

How much will the first round of College Football Playoff rankings affect the latest Coaches Poll?

For example, will the mistakes of Michigan being ranked ahead of USC and Texas ahead of Oklahoma be corrected this week? The guess is yes.

How will the ACC shake out after the huge losses by Virginia and Louisville? The Cavaliers were 15th, and they couldn't do much of anything in a loss to Wake Forest – losing starting quarterback Chandler Morris early on had something to do with that. Louisville lost in overtime to Cal because it was outplayed.

So yes, the very top should stay the same, but there will be plenty of movement after around nine.

Going into Week 12, here's our best guess on what the latest Coaches Poll will be when it comes out on Sunday.
