Here’s what the Week 12 Coaches Poll got right and wrong, with the full rankings below.

Coaches Poll Top 25 College Football Rankings Week 12

What the Coaches Poll Got Right

– The Alabama (4), Georgia (5), Ole Miss (7) pecking order is still solid.

– Virginia beat Louisville, which is the big thing in the ACC race. Cavaliers 19, Cardinals 21. The other poll didn’t get this right.

– Pitt (23) is behind Louisville (21) – the Panthers lost to the Cardinals.

What the Coaches Poll Got Wrong

– Oklahoma and Texas are tied in the tenth spot, but this still hasn’t been adjusted. They’re even in records, and Texas beat OU.

– USC beat Michigan. Michigan is 17, USC 18. And …

– Nitpicking, but USF (26) is better than James Madison (25), but that’s not all that bad.
