Indiana football has come calling in central Illinois.

Morton junior lineman Soren Fifer announced on social media Thursday that he has received a scholarship offer from the reigning national champions and thanked Indiana offensive line coach Bob Bostad for stopping by.

"I’m blessed to announce I have received an offer to play football from THE National Champions!!" Fifer posted Thursday.

This comes a day after the 6-foot-6, 295-pounder picked up an offer from Oregon. He received a visit from Ducks offensive line coach A'lique Terry, who gave Fifer his fourth Big Ten Conference offer on Wednesday.

Fifer, a Journal Star first-team all-area offensive lineman, also has offers from Illinois, Iowa, Iowa State, Northwestern, Pittsburgh, Duke, Cincinnati, Liberty and Illinois State. He is a three-star prospect, coming in as the No. 40-ranked offensive tackle nationally and the No. 16 overall in Illinois among the Class of 2027.
