Brendan Sorsby has taken himself out of the running in the 2026 Heisman Trophy odds, as he plans to enter the NFL Supplemental Draft. The news comes just one week after he won an injunction to play college football for Texas Tech on the heels of being suspended by the NCAA for violating sports gambling rules.

CJ Carr and Arch Manning maintain their top spots on the betting board. Below are the latest college football odds to win the 2026 Heisman Trophy.

Brendan Sorsby Heisman odds

Brendan Sorsby re-opened at +2200 after winning an injunction, sitting behind a gauntlet of QBs like CJ Carr and Arch Manning.

But following a firestorm of controversy, including an NCAA appeal of the decision, Sorsby has done an about-face and is now targeting the NFL via the supplemental draft. The deadline for entry is June 22.

Neither Keelon Russell nor Austin Mack has been named the starting Alabama Crimson Tide quarterback yet. Mack has more experience in Kalen DeBoer’s system dating back to Washington. However, Russell has more upside.

In this year’s spring game, Russell completed 21 of 33 passes for 240 yards, with four touchdowns and an interception. Russell also extended several plays with his legs despite wearing a non-contact jersey.
