The 2026 college football season hasn't even kicked off yet, and that means it'll be quite a while until we see the College Football Playoff committee do a song and dance in the media when the CFP rankings are unveiled. As a reminder, the committee doesn't even rank teams until well into the season, so we'll let Ohio State and all the other teams in college do some of their best work before the throng descends on Grapevine, Texas, to try and sort things out.

However, what we do know, thanks to a release from the committee, are the dates and times on which we will see the rankings unveiled each week. From the first set of rankings all the way through the last rankings after the conference championship games that determine the CFP participants.

Here's how things line up for the CFP rankings reveals that will undoubtedly come to us on a screen thanks to ESPN.

Since the first set of CFP rankings won't occur until Tuesday, November 3, we have plenty of time to talk about things and let it all sort out. However, that won't stop us from taking a stab at what those rankings might look like before all the fun happens in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. Stay tuned for that throughout the season here on Buckeyes Wire.
