College football rankings after Week 3: Updated Coaches Poll, AP Top 25 for Big Ten

The race for a conference title and a spot in the College Football Playoff continued for teams in one of the country's best conferences this weekend.

The Big Ten has several notable games involving some of its biggest, most prestigious programs during Week 3 of the 2026 college football season.

No. 6 Ohio State bounced back from its gutting loss last week at Texas, a game in which it led by 20 early in the fourth quarter, with a commanding 59-3 win against Kent State. No. 18 Oregon rebounded from a devastating setback of its own, a loss at unranked Oklahoma State last Saturday, with an 84-0 blowout of FCS Portland State.

No. 19 Michigan overcame a slow start vs. UTEP to beat the Miners 52-17, whereas No. 11 USC got a tough game against Rutgers, beating the Scarlet Knights 42-35 in Piscataway, New Jersey.

Elsewhere, No. 4 Indiana knocked off Western Kentucky, 38-0, No. 15 Penn State had little trouble with Buffalo in a 55-13 win and No. 20 Iowa cruised past FCS Northern Iowa 55-0.
