College football rankings after Week 4: Updated Coaches Poll. AP Top 25 for Big Ten

Responsible for a third of the ranked matchups on the Week 4 schedule, the Big Ten provided some entertainment for college football fans on the weekend.

No. 12 Southern California failed to get a statement at home against No. 16 Oregon, as the Ducks came into Los Angeles and walked out with a 41-27 win. With Dante Moore suffering a scary hit in the game, Dylan Raiola came on in relief, completing 19-of-25 passes for 289 yards and two touchdowns

In Ann Arbor, No. 18 Michigan suffered a devastating defeat against No. 17 Iowa, who walked off the Wolverines, 20-19, with a last-second touchdown that ended Kyle Whittingham's undefeated start in Ann Arbor.

Indiana's 18-game home win streak under Curt Cignetti was on the brink of being snapped, but Lee Beebe Jr. saved the streak and the day for the Hoosiers against Northwestern, which put up a real fight against Indiana with Aiden Chiles under center. Both teams combined for 30 points in the fourth quarter alone.

Elsewhere, Luke Fickell notched a rare ranked win against No. 14 Penn State while No. 7 Ohio State rolled through Illinois behind four touchdowns from Jeremiah Smith. Additionally, Rutgers won its first game of the season against Howard, and Purdue fell at home to No. 3 Notre Dame.
