College football’s Week 4 sets record for most ranked games on any day in AP poll history

Saturday is about to be full of fireworks for Week 4 of the college football season.

Six matchups feature ranked teams, including four in the SEC. No. 1 Texas will be in Knoxville to take on No. 14 Tennessee, while No. 4 Ole Miss plays No. 21 Florida in “The Swamp.” No. 23 Texas A&M travels to Baton Rouge to play No. 10 LSU, and No. 19 Missouri travels to play No. 24 Mississippi State.

From the Big Ten, No. 17 Iowa travels to Ann Arbor to play No. 18 Michigan, and No. 20 Oregon travels to play No. 12 USC.

Saturday will have the most ranked conference games on any day in AP poll history.

It will be a great day to sit on the couch and flip back and forth between these games.

College GameDay will be in Knoxville for Saturday’s Texas-Tennessee showdown. The weekly pre-game show will preview the game and the rest of Saturday’s slate before the contest gets underway at noon ET on ABC.

The Ole Miss-Florida game will be at 3:30 p.m. ET on ABC, and the Texas A&M-LSU game will be at 7:30 p.m. ET on ABC. Finally, the Missouri-Mississippi State game will be at 7:45 p.m. ET on the SEC Network.

The Iowa-Michigan game kicks off at 3:30 p.m. ET on CBS, and the Oregon-USC game starts at 7:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
