'College GameDay' announces Week 11 location

ESPN’s “College GameDay” will be in Big 12 country for a second straight week on Saturday, Nov. 8. GameDay will be attending the BYU Cougars at Texas Tech Red Raiders game in Lubbock, Texas.

Last week, GameDay returned to a Big 12 campus for the first time since 2022. GameDay and the nation watched as Utah dominated Cincinnati 45-14 in an impressive showing.

GameDay will be in Lubbock for a top-10 showdown between BYU (8-0) and Texas Tech (8-1). The winner of the BYU-Texas Tech game will likely end up making it the Big 12 championship game.

GameDay picked the BYU at Texas Tech game over several other top college football games in Week 11 including Texas A&M at Missouri, Oregon at Iowa, LSU at Alabama and Georgia at Mississippi State. Next week, Georgia Bulldogs fans are hoping that GameDay will come to UGA for the Texas at Georgia game on Nov. 15.

Including Week 11, GameDay will have attended two Big 12 campuses, one ACC campus, five SEC campuses and three Big Ten campuses. GameDay has attended 11 different campuses this season.

Kirk Herbstreit, Nick Saban, Rece Davis, Desmond Howard and Pat McAfee serve as college football experts for GameDay. GameDay’s television coverage will begin at 9 a.m. ET on Saturday, Nov. 8. Show will be live from Texas Tech’s campus and will be televised on ESPN.
