“College GameDay” can’t get enough of the state of Utah.
ESPN’s pregame show will broadcast live from the University of Utah just one week after it went to Provo ahead of the BYU-Notre Dame game.
The Utes will be facing the Houston Cougars. Ranked 20th in the country last week, the Cougars hung on to beat the 18th ranked Oklahoma State Cowboys 35-32.
Saturday will be the seventh time “GameDay” has aired from the campus of the University of Utah.
We liked the Beehive State so much that we’re sticking around!

The show made its first appearance in Salt Lake City ahead of the 2004 BYU-Utah game. The show has also preceded Utah-TCU in 2010, Utah-Cal in 2015, Utah-Washington in 2016, Utah-Oregon in 2023 and Utah-Cincinnati in 2025.
Utah broke a two-game “GameDay” losing streak last year with a resounding 45-14 victory over Cincinnati and quarterback Brendan Sorsby.
“College GameDay” will likely broadcast from Presidents’ Circle, where it has originated from at Utah since 2015.
Rece Davis, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee, Nick Saban and Kirk Herbstreit will host the show starting at 7 a.m. MDT.
