Colorado football is fairly set at the quarterback position for the next two seasons with Julian Lewis and Isaac Wilson on the roster. But what happens two or three years down the line? That player is not currently on the Buffaloes' roster, but Colorado's recruiting staff is working hard to find them. One of those players is four-star quarterback Andre Adams.

Adams recently announced that he plans to make a commitment on April 11, the same day as Colorado's spring game. He has taken visits to Oregon, Kentucky, Mississippi State and Virginia Tech. He also has visits scheduled with the Buffs and Florida State this spring. Those six schools will be vying for his signature over the next few weeks.

Adams told Rivals that Virginia Tech, Colorado and Kentucky have been recruiting him the hardest recently. The Antioch, Tennessee, native is rated as a four-star recruit by the 247Sports Composite and the No. 175 overall player in the 2027 class and the No. 15 quarterback nationally.

As a junior, the dual-threat quarterback put up massive numbers. He finished with 3,417 passing yards with 35 passing touchdowns while completing 71% of his passes. Adams added an impressive 855 rushing yards and 13 scores.

An Adams' commitment would be a tremendous get for a Colorado program desperate for a recruiting spark. Locking in their quarterback post-Julian Lewis would set a ton of concerns aside for the program's trajectory in the not-so-distant future.
