Deion Sanders and the Colorado Buffaloes added a solid piece to the 2027 recruiting class to kick off the weekend in Boulder.

On Friday afternoon, 3-star defensive lineman Kenny Fairley announced that he was committing to the Buffaloes, choosing them over the Cincinnati Bearcats and Purdue Boilermakers. Fairley stands at 6-foot-1, 270 pounds, and projects to be a stout interior defensive lineman at the collegiate level.

This is a nice show of Colorado's national recruiting reach, with Fairley playing at Creekside High School in Fairburn, Georgia. He is rated as the No. 1,099 player in the 2027 class, per the 247Sports Composite, and the No. 129 interior defensive lineman.

With the addition of Fairley, Colorado now has the No. 56-ranked recruiting class in the 2027 cycle, and the No. 9 class in the Big 12. This is the Buffs' third member of the 2027 class, joining 3-star quarterback Andre Adams and 3-star cornerback Davon Dericho.
