Colorado football recruiting had an outstanding last few weeks of May, and following a brief lull, the Buffs are showing their recruiting chops once again.

Following the commitment of three-star offensive lineman Jaiden Lindsay, Colorado landed class of 2027 three-star linebacker Jovon Pulliam. Pulliam chose the Buffaloes over Jacksonville State, Appalachian State and Tulane. He held 18 offers, but was coming off a June 5 visit to Boulder, which sealed the deal for the Hoover, Alabama native.

247Sports Composite ranks Pulliam as the No. 1364 overall recruit in the 2027 class, the No. 105 edge and the No. 50 player from Alabama.

At 6-foot-1, 230 pounds, he profiles more as an outside linebacker type rather than a true edge rusher. Pullian totaled 26 tackles for a loss and 11 sacks in 2025.

Pulliam’s commitment puts Colorado at 11 total 2027 recruits, giving the program the Big 12’s No. 2-ranked class. For comparison sake, CU did not have 10 2026 commitments until early August last year.
