Colorado football lands four-star WR Jaiden Kelly-Murray

The Colorado Buffaloes are on a recruiting heater, and that streak continued on Monday with the Buffs landing a commitment from four-star 2027 wide receiver Jaiden Kelly-Murray.

Kelly-Murray’s commitment gives Colorado nine 2027 commitments, and it’s the sixth in the past week. He chose the Buffs over Illinois, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest.

Rivals ranks the Summerville, South Carolina native as the No. 193 overall player in the class of 2027, the No. 30 wide receiver, and the No. 4 player from his home state. 247Sports Composite ranks Kelly-Murray as the No. 302 overall player and the No. 38 wide receiver.

The 5-foot-10, 170 pund receiver was one of a few players that fellow Colorado commit Andre Adams was hoping would join him in Boulder. The quarterback-wide receiver duo could be the next big thing for the Buffs.

He moved up his commitment day despite having an official visit scheduled with Colorado on June 19, suggesting he heard everything he needed to hear from Deion Sanders’ staff.

During his live commitment announcement on the CBS Sports College Football YouTube Channel, Kelly-Murray name-dropped Texas wide receiver Brody Knowles as a player he dopes joins him and Adams at Colorado.

With Kelly-Murray joining the fold, CU’s class of 2027 now ranks No. 35 overall and is the fourth-best class in the Big 12.
