Colorado football wraps up spring camp this week, but the recruiting season is just heating up with many visits scheduled for Saturday's spring game and the summer.
One of those players is 2027 edge rusher James Harris Jr., a three-star recruit from Houston, Texas. Harris visited Boulder on March 31 for an unofficial visit and will be back on campus in June.
On Monday, Harris announced his final five schools with the Colorado Buffaloes making the cut along with North Carolina, Vanderbilt, Texas Tech and Miami. The Buffs face some stiff competition for Harris' signature.
247Sports ranks the 6-foot-1, 225-pound product as the No. 82 EDGE and the No. 145 player from the state of Texas.

Colorado's 2027 recruiting class currently only has one commitment, making every final list the Buffs make a recruit to watch.
With the spring game coming up on Saturday, expect the recruiting momentum to pick up in the next few weeks.
