Colorado football extended an offer to class of 2027 three-star running back SaRod Baker on Monday.
The Buffs joined a crowded offer sheet that includes 19 other programs, including Sacramento State, making him a target of the new Colorado offensive coordinator, Brennan Marion. Baker also holds offers from Iowa, Kansas, Minnesota, Ohio State, Pittsburgh, SMU, TCU, Texas Tech, among others.
247Sports currently ranks the DeSoto, Texas native as the No. 68 running back and the No. 99 prospect from Texas. Baker seems likely to set up some official visits this spring.

Deion Sanders and the Buffs currently have just one commitment to their 2027 recruiting class, which is considered a big win for this early in the cycle. Defensive back Dolph McDonald committed to the Buffs alongside his older brother Xavier (class of 2026).
Adding a top 70 running back to the mix would be a big get for Colorado, especially with Marion’s Go-Go offense reliant on the running game.
