Colorado wasted no time seeking solutions for its offensive line when the transfer portal officially opened on Friday.
One of the Buffs' offers announced was to former West Carolina Catamounts offensive lineman Manasseh Ripert. The 6-foot-4, 300-pound lineman primarily played tackle for the FCS school in 2025, but has experience at guard as well, potentially giving the Buffs needed versatility up front. In 2025, Ripert posted an overall Pro Football Focus grade of 71.4 with a 75.0 pass blocking grade.

After Lakeland High School, Ripert spent his first two years at the JUCO level, first playing for Kentucky Christian and then for Dodge City Community College. In his first year at West Carolina, he redshirted after appearing in only three games, leaving him with two years of eligibility remaining.
Ripert has offers from Marshall, Akron, Georgia State and UTSA, making Colorado his only Power 5 offer as of Saturday.
