Colorado football extended an offer Tuesday evening to a class of 2029 recruit with a notable name. DeMarcus Ware Jr., son of Pro Football Hall of Famer DeMarcus Ware, was offered by Deion Sanders and the Buffaloes.

Ware Jr. is an unranked linebacker and wide receiver prospect from Southlake Carroll High School in Southlake, Texas. Colorado becomes Ware's fourth offer as Sanders looks to get in early with a promising prospect.

Other schools to offer the 6-foot linebacker include UTSA, Arkansas State and SMU.

The offer continues Colorado's trend of recruiting family members of former NFL stars. CU brought in Aqib Talib's nephew, Yamil, from Charlotte.

Colorado has already offered over 30 players in the class of 2029, despite it being a couple of recruiting cycles away.
