Colorado football is already well into prep for the 2026 offseason, which will center around player movement. While the transfer portal does not officially open until early January, players around the country are announcing their decisions.

On Tuesday morning, Zarian McGill announced that he will be entering the 2026 NFL draft after exhausting all of his eligibility. The transfer from Louisiana Tech played one season at Colorado, starting every game at center. He was a key cog in a revamped offensive line for the Buffs, earning Pro Football Focus' highest grade (72.5) for any Colorado offensive player.

McGill announced the decision on social media and will now start preparing for the draft, where he is currently projected as an undrafted free agent.

McGill joins wide receiver Sincere Brown, also a fifth-year senior, as the two Buffaloes to declare for the NFL draft. While those declarations were generally expected, Deion Sanders and his staff will attempt to keep their younger players from entering the draft process early.
