Colorado high school football scores for CHSAA playoff games this week

Trophies will be handed out and championship participants decided this weekend in Colorado high school football.
Classes 2A and below are playing for state titles down at CSU Pueblo in the ThunderBowl.
Meanwhile, classes 3A-5A have semifinal games as the championship game participants are determined for next weekend at Fort Collins' Canvas Stadium.

- No. 1 Cherry Creek 21, No. 5 Valor Christian 13
- No. 2 Ralston Valley vs. No. 3 Mountain Vista (3 p.m.)
Colorado 4A high school football semifinal scores, schedule
- No. 1 Dakota Ridge 31, No. 5 Heritage 14
- No. 3 Palmer Ridge 31, No. 2 Montrose 29
4A STATE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME SET:
- No. 1 Dakota Ridge vs. No. 3 Palmer Ridge (2 p.m. Dec. 6)

Colorado 2A football state championship game score, winner
- No. 2 Wellington vs. No. 4 Elizabeth (5 p.m. at CSU Pueblo's ThunderBowl)
Colorado 1A football state championship game score, winner
- No. 2 Limon 14, No. 1 Buena Vista 10 (at CSU Pueblo's ThunderBowl)
The Badgers came back from a 10-0 deficit and continued a dynasty with the program's sixth state championship in the last 8 years.
Limon extended its Colorado football state-title record to 23 championships.
Colorado 8-man football state championship game score, winner
- No. 2 Haxtun 54, No. 1 Akron 28
The Bulldogs avenged a loss earlier in the season to Akron and beat the Rams for a second straight year in the 8-man title game to claim Haxtun's 10th state football championship.
Colorado 6-man football state championship game score, winner
- No. 1 Idalia 38, No. 2 Stratton 8
Idalia finished 14-0 and claimed the program's ninth state championship, but first since 2010.
