Colorado football offered class of 2027 four-star athlete Hakim Frampton, a current Texas A&M commit. Frampton announced the offer on Tuesday, his 15th offer overall.
Frampton, an Arkansas product, is a two-way player who plays defensive back and wide receiver. 247Sports Composite rates Frampton as the No. 355 overall player, the No. 19 athlete, and the No. 1 prospect from the state of Arkansas. He spent two high school seasons in California and this past year (junior season) at Joe T. Robinson in Arkansas.
This past fall, Frampton hauled in 37 catches for 724 yards and nine touchdowns, according to MaxPreps. Defensively, he recorded 46 tackles, 3.5 tackles for a loss, three interceptions, three passes defended and two forced fumbles.
Frampton took to X to announce the offer, thanking Deion Sanders and Director of Player Personnel Darius Darden-Box.
“I appreciate you, legend [Deion Sanders] and Darius Darden-Box, for extending me the opportunity to play at the University of Colorado,” Frampton wrote.

Colorado and Sanders will battle some heavyweights for Frampton’s final signature. Those include Texas A&M, BYU, Arkansas, Auburn, Indiana, UCLA, Washington and several others.
Currently, CU is without any 2027 commitments after four-star cornerback Dolph McDonald decommitted last weekend, citing his desire to see other options. If the Buffaloes were to flip Frampton from the Aggies, he would be a likely candidate to follow in Travis Hunter’s footsteps as a two-way player at Colorado.
