Urban Meyer‘s days as a college football head coach will be remembered for a very long time.
He began his college head coaching career at Bowling Green before going to Utah, Florida and then Ohio State.
Meyer also took a stint in the NFL with the Jacksonville Jaguars, although it didn’t turn out well. Now, he is part of the Fox Sports “Big Noon Kickoff” crew, so he is still involved in some of the big college football games during the season.
On Tuesday, Meyer joined legends such as Nick Saban, Michael Strahan and Michael Vick as they were among the inductions for the 2025 College Football Hall of Fame Class as the National Football Foundation held its 67th annual awards dinner in Las Vegas.
On Tuesday night, the Fox Sports account sent a congratulations message to Meyer.
“LEGEND FOREVER. Congratulations @CoachUrbanMeyer for being inducted into the 2025 College Football Hall of Fame.”

The goat emoji reaction was also a common theme for a number of fans after the post.
Meyer finished with a 187-32 record during his coaching career, including an 83-9 stint at Ohio State and a 65-15 record during his days at Florida.
He also went 22-2 in two years in Utah, so he did nothing but win in college.
Meyer took Utah to its first-ever BCS bowl appearance, and he won two titles at Florida and one with Ohio State.
Now, he joins the College Football Hall of Fame in a well-deserved honor.
