CLEMSON — Clemson football is seeking its 14th straight postseason win to extend the longest streak in FBS history.
Clemson (7-5) will face Penn State (6-6) in the Pinstripe Bowl on Dec. 27 (noon ET, ABC) at Yankee Stadium in New York.
The Tigers are bowl eligible for the 21st year in a row, the fourth-longest active streak in the sport, after winning four straight games to close the regular season. However, Clemson may be without key contributors if players opt out to focus on the 2026 NFL Draft.
Senior players who could opt out include quarterback Cade Klubnik, running back Adam Randall, linebacker Wade Woodaz, defensive tackle DeMonte Capehart and offensive tackles Blake Miller and Tristan Leigh.
Juniors who are heading to the NFL may also opt out, including wide receiver Antonio Williams, cornerback Avieon Terrel and defensive tackle Peter Woods. Edge rushers T.J. Parker and Will Heldt both have not announced their decisions yet.
In the past seasons, true juniors who have declared for the NFL draft before a non-College Football Playoff bowl game have opted out. Others who left for the NFL after the bowl game have played if healthy.
Here are all the players who are playing and not playing in Clemson’s bowl game against Penn State.

Avieon Terrell, CB: Terrell, a junior, has spent three seasons at Clemson with 125 tackles, including four sacks, eight forced fumbles, 25 pass breakups and three interceptions. This season, he recorded 48 tackles, including three sacks, five forced fumbles and nine pass deflections.
Peter Woods, DT: Woods, a junior, has spent three seasons at Clemson, logging 84 tackles, including 14.5 for loss and five sacks, and forced two fumbles. This season, he had a career-high 30 tackles, including two sacks, and one pass deflection and rushed for 15 yards and two touchdowns on eight attempts.
Neither player has announced if they will play in Clemson’s bowl game or not.
