Dallas Cowboys Sign Former Florida State RB Jashaun Corbin

The Dallas Cowboys have signed former Florida State running back Jashaun Corbin to their 90-man training camp roster.
Corbin starred at Florida State from 2020-2021. He had brief stints in the NFL, and in 2025 led the UFL in rushing with 514 yards while playing with the San Antonio Brahmas.
In 2026 the Dallas Cowboys running back room is expected to be led by returning starter Javonte Williams who re-signed with the team for three years following his breakout 2025 performance which included 1201 yards rushing.
Corbin played six games with the New York Giants in 2022 and spent time on the practice squads for New England, Atlanta, and Carolina. To date, the majority of his professional success has come as a running back in the UFL. Corbin is expected to compete for a backup spot and should contribute on special teams if he has any hopes to make the final cut.
In 2021 Corbin started all 12 games for Florida State amassing 1,159 all-purpose yards while rushing for 887 yards with seven touchdowns on the ground. He was named third-team All-ACC and was on the All-ACC academic team.
Corbin started eight of the nine games Florida State played during the 2020 COVID season. He had 548 all-purpose yards including 401 yards on the ground. He was named to the All-ACC Academic Team and the ACC Honor Roll.
Prior to joining Florida State, Corbin played for Texas A&M from 2018-2019. He had 1,025 yards of total offense in his time at Texas A&M including 483 yards on the ground.
In 2019 Corbin started the first two games of the season before a season-ending injury cost him his season. He ran for 103 yards and scored on a touchdown run and a touchdown reception.
As a true freshman in 2018, Corbin was named to the All-SEC Freshman Team after totaling 422 yards in kick returns and rushing for 346 yards. He also had a 100-yard kick return against Arkansas his first season with Texas A&M.
The Florida Native played four years of varsity football and led Rockledge High School to the 5A state playoffs with 2,252 all-purpose yards including 23 touchdowns in 2017. As a junior, he had 1,641 all-purpose yards scoring 18 touchdowns. As a sophomore, he rushed for almost 2,000 yards scoring 22 touchdowns. As a freshman on the varsity, Corbin scored five touchdowns totaling 495 all-purpose yards.
After a successful run at the UFL, Corbin will have a chance to fight for a spot in an NFL roster this summer.
