Wayshawn Parker racked up 118 all-purpose yards and three touchdowns as the 20th-ranked Utah Utes rolled over the Arkansas Razorbacks, 43-10, on Saturday night.

Morgan Scalley's team took control of the game before halftime and didn't look back in front of a sold-out crowd of 51,532 fans at Rice-Eccles Stadium. The Utes improved to 2-0 on the season with a statement win over an SEC opponent at home.

Devon Dampier led Utah on four consecutive scoring drives to lift the Utes before and after halftime. He threw for 261 yards and two touchdowns. Utah has now scored 30 or more points in eight straight games dating back to the 2025 season, the longest active streak in the FBS of games scoring 30-plus points, according to Utah Athletics.

The Utes surpassed 400 total yards for the second straight week, outgained the Razorbacks by more than 100 yards and were a perfect 6-for-6 in the red zone. They also converted 6-of-11 attempts on third and fourth downs. This was a great game plan put together by Scalley and his staff.

“We try and be as efficient as possible. Creativity’s part of that,” Scalley said. “If all of a sudden it doesn’t work, then it’s like, ‘Oh, you were too cute’. But it worked, so hooray for us."

Arkansas' offense was under pressure all night long with two scoreless quarters in the game. KJ Jackson and AJ Hill combined for 244 yards and a fourth quarter touchdown with an interception in a losing effort.

The Hogs took a 3-0 lead early off Max Gilbert's 29-yard field goal. However, the rest of the game was a defensive shut down by the Utes. Arkansas never advanced past Utah's 30 again until the fourth quarter. The Utes had four sacks, seven tackles for loss and 13 PDUs in the game.

“We were clearly not good enough tonight in all three phases,” Arkansas Coach Ryan Silverfield said. “Everybody is to blame as every person in this locker room didn't do well enough.”

Utah took care of business against the second SEC opponent to visit Salt Lake City in the past two decades. Arkansas starts the season 1-1 after the first-ever game against Utah. This was the furthest West the Hogs have traveled for a game in a season in 26 years. They lost the Las Vegas Bowl to UNLV in 2000.

Utah wraps up non-conference play at home against Utah State next Saturday. The 114th meeting between the Utes and Aggies in the in-state rivalry.
