DaSaahn Brame has ability to play out in space, in core

Tennessee head coach Josh Heupel announced Monday senior tight end Ethan Davis will miss the remainder of the football season with an ACL injury.
He also discussed sophomore tight end DaSaahn Brame's ability to replace Davis.
"DaSaahn has the ability to play out in space and play in the core, which is very similar to Ethan," Heupel said. "Some of our other guys do too. DaSaahn's really grown in his ability to play in the core. If you look at the last run by Daune (Morris), DaSaahn's doing a great job inside the core on the second level. We got a ton of trust in him, and that's a credit to his development over the last year."
The 6-foot-5, 240-pound Brame has recorded one reception for seven yards in two games this season. He played 24 offensive snaps in Week 2 at Georgia Tech.
Brame totaled six receptions for 63 yards in nine games as a freshman in 2025. His career high for receptions (three) and receiving yards (38) in a game was at Alabama on Oct. 18, 2025.
