Florida football's annual rivalry game with the Florida State Seminoles is getting a slight shakeup on the calendar.
The ACC released its 2026 football schedule on Monday, and it confirmed that the Gators and Seminoles will meet on Friday, Nov. 27. The game will be played at Doak Campbell Stadium in Tallahassee, with kickoff time and television information to be announced later.
Florida last played a regular-season Friday game in 2022, when the Gators and Seminoles met the day after Thanksgiving in Tallahassee.
In the most recent meeting between the two programs, Florida closed the 2025 season with a 40-21 win over FSU in the Swamp. The Gators leaned heavily on running back Jadan Baugh, who erupted for 266 yards and two touchdowns on 38 carries.

That win allowed the Orange and Blue to finish a difficult season on a high note while extending its recent success in the rivalry. The Gators have now won two in a row against Florida State and own a 39-28-2 record in their history against the Seminoles.
With the date now locked in, Florida football fans can officially circle Nov. 27 on the calendar.
