Deion Sanders Questions If Big 12 Opponents Are Being Dishonest

During this Thursday's edition of Colorado football's coaches show, Deion Sanders made an interesting comment about the Big 12.

Colorado will take on Arizona this Saturday at Folsom Field. There are currently 20 players listed on the Buffaloes' injury report, including cornerback Makari Vickers, running back Simeon Price and wide receiver Hykeem Williams. The Wildcats, meanwhile, only have offensive lineman Jordan Brown on their injury report.

Sanders can't help but wonder if other Big 12 schools aren't being honest with their injury reports.

"Why do we always — like, we always have 100 guys (on the injury report) and the other team, I look over and they have two guys?" Sanders said, via On3. "Are we the only ones being honest?"

2025 has been rough for Colorado.

Colorado enters Week 10 with a 3-5 record. Outside of a win over Iowa State on Oct. 11, Coach Prime's squad has been unable to handle their conference opponents.

Sanders was sickened by last weekend's 53-7 loss to Utah. In fact, he stayed at his office for a few days to work on a better game plan.

“I feel the worst,” Sanders told reporters Tuesday, via USA Today’s Brent Schrotenboer. “I haven’t been home yet. I’ve been here every night since. I haven’t been home yet, so that’s how much I care. That’s how much I love it. That’s how much I embody this university, the school, what they’ve done for us.”

A win over Arizona would certainly change the mood in Colorado's locker room.
