Deion Sanders is dealing with immense pressure as the Colorado Buffaloes struggle through a four-game losing streak. This also doesn't account for the fact Coach Prime has gone a year without a Big 12 conference win.

This has all prompted questions about the direction of the program and his ability to restore the team's competitiveness. Needless to say, Sanders needs to end this season on a positive note. Even if the Buffs did rattle off a few wins, would it be enough to move Sanders off the hot seat?

Colorado opened the season with two victories, including a 14-13 thriller in Atlanta against Georgia Tech. However, the Buffs have fallen to 2-4 overall and 0-3 in Big 12 play. The recent struggles have intensified the discussion about Sanders' leadership. He's working to keep his locker room united while searching for answers on the field, especially at the quarterback position.

"I'm trying to say this carefully. I got rid of that, Sanders said Tuesday about players who didn't meet the standard. As much as Sanders might believe the team is unified under his watch, the results tell a much different story.

Brennan Marion's Go-Go offense is stuck in the slow lane and can't advance. The Buffaloes rank last in the Big 12, averaging just 19.5 points per game. This is also one of the worst marks among Power Four teams.

CU quarterback Isaac Wilson took over from Julian Lewis, but it hasn't produced much of a difference in the approach. The Buffs came back from a 13-0 halftime deficit against No. 11 Utah to lead in the 3rd quarter and ultimately lose 27-24.

"The sideline went crazy because they're fighting for one another," Sanders said about the finish against Utah. "It's all love, it's all support, and I love those type of moments because that shows how unified we are."

Wilson has shown flashes of being a game-managing quarterback. He has thrown for 546 yards and three touchdowns across his past two games against ranked opponents. This might've been a terrible time to insert him as a starter due to throwing five interceptions during his time under center.

The immediate challenge is a Saturday matchup against Oklahoma State. Colorado enters the contest as a 13.5-point underdog, putting additional pressure on Sanders and his staff to show progress. Before entering the final month of the season. The Buffs are also three losses away from missing the postseason for a second consecutive year.

Sanders' job isn't in jeopardy due to his massive $26 million buyout. However, there's no room for error from this point moving forward. Colorado searches for answers while trying to prove they're able to compete.
