Rutgers football still needs one more win to secure bowl eligibility for a third-straight season.

The Scarlet Knights have two remaining chances to get that victory.

Their final two games will come against Ohio State and Penn State. If the Scarlet Knights can beat the Nittany Lions, it would be their first win over Penn State since 1988.

It's been a challenging season for Greg Schiano's team, which has endured injuries and defensive struggles.

The Scarlet Knights are off this week for their second bye week of the season. It came at a crucial time since Rutgers is banged up. While it has a long list of players who are out of the season, the week off gave some players the chance to try to recover (or at least become somewhat healthier) before the team's next game.

After this bye week, the Scarlet Knights will hit the road to play No. 1 Ohio State in Columbus on Nov. 22, and then will host Penn State on Nov. 29.
