LSU has a very exciting schedule in 2026, featuring some of college football’s biggest brands and several outstanding home games. The Tigers will face teams like Texas, Alabama, Clemson, and Ole Miss.

DraftKings has released early betting lines for many of LSU’s marquee matchups this season. Of the six games they have posted, the Tigers are favored in four and underdogs in only two.

Here are the early DraftKings lines:

  • LSU vs. Clemson: LSU -11.5
  • LSU at The School in Oxford: LSU +2.5
  • LSU vs. Texas A&M: LSU -3
  • LSU vs. Alabama: LSU -4
  • LSU vs. Texas: LSU +3
  • LSU at Tennessee: LSU -1.5

LSU opening as an 11.5-point home favorite against Clemson shows just how much confidence oddsmakers have in the Tigers inside Death Valley. If Lane Kiffin and LSU can come out and beat Clemson by more than two touchdowns, it would make a massive statement to begin the Kiffin era in Baton Rouge.

The matchup against Kiffin’s former team in Oxford is also interesting. Ole Miss is only favored by 2.5 points, which appears to be a clear indication that oddsmakers are giving the Rebels a standard home-field advantage. The same could be said for LSU’s matchup with Texas A&M, where Death Valley seems to be giving the Tigers the edge.

Looking at the Alabama line, a four-point spread feels about right today. It’s difficult to know exactly what Alabama will be this season. There’s plenty of optimism surrounding the Crimson Tide, but not much has been proven on the field yet. They also need to make significant improvements to their running game. Right now, LSU appears to have the better roster, a more complete coaching staff, and the added advantage of playing Alabama at home.

The final line against Tennessee is especially intriguing. Playing at Neyland Stadium is always a challenge, and playing there late in the fall only makes it more difficult. However, Tennessee currently has questions at quarterback, and uncertainty at the most important position on the field can derail an entire season. This will be one of the more interesting teams to watch throughout the year because they could develop into a very good football team by the time LSU arrives. On the other hand, if things don’t go according to plan, that 1.5-point spread could grow substantially and look much closer to the Clemson line.

Looking at these early spreads, which game would you be most excited to bet, and which line do you think the oddsmakers got wrong?
