OXFORD — The date for Egg Bowl has been moved for Ole Miss football and Mississippi State on the 2026 schedule.
The game will be played in Vaught-Hemingway Stadium in Oxford on Friday, Nov. 27, both schools announced on Jan. 15. Kickoff and TV information will be announced at a later date.
The game was initially slated for Saturday, Nov. 28 when the schedules for Ole Miss and MSU were revealed Dec. 11. It will be played on a Friday for the third straight year.
The 2026 Egg Bowl will be the seventh time the game is played on a Friday, and the fourth time since 2007. That includes the 2025 game that Ole Miss won 38-19 in Starkville on Nov. 28. It was coach Lane Kiffin’s final game at Ole Miss.
It will be the 123rd meeting between Ole Miss and Mississippi State. The Rebels have a 67-49-6 advantage in the all-time series. The game will also be the 99th time the Rebels and Bulldogs have played for the Golden Egg.
