Elite quarterback, top Alabama target reportedly sets commitment date

A top Alabama 2027 recruiting target, elite quarterback prospect Elijah Haven has officially set a commitment date, per Rivals' Sam Spiegelman.

Haven has been a top target for the Crimson Tide since his recruitment originally began. The talented quarterback's finalists currently include Alabama, Auburn, and Georgia, as Haven is expected to make an official decision in regard to his recruitment on April 25, per Spiegelman.

Haven is a highly-coveted recruit with elite speed and athleticism, as the rising star would undoubtedly prove to be a massive addition to Alabama’s 2027 recruiting class should he ultimately commit to the Crimson Tide. 

A five-star prospect, Haven is currently ranked as the No. 1 quarterback and the No. 2 overall player from the class of 2027, per 247Sports. He is ranked as the No. 1 overall player out of Louisiana as well where he attends Dunham School.

With a potential commitment, Haven would become the second quarterback commit in Alabama's 2027 class, with in-state standout Trent Seaborn the other.
