ESPN 'College GameDay' location for Week 0

College football is finally back for Week 0. However, ESPN's "College GameDay" will not be attending a college campus for Week 0 action, so fans hoping to watch GameDay will have to wait for another week.
GameDay opted out of making the long trip for the North Carolina-TCU game in Dublin, Ireland, or the NC State-Virginia game in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in Week 0. Fans hoping for a pregame college football show can watch "College Football Countdown" ahead of the North Carolina-TCU game that starts at noon on Saturday, Aug. 29. The pregame show starts at 10 a.m. ET.
Other Week 0 games include Hawaii at Stanford and San Jose State at USC. GameDay probably has good reasons for not attending any Week 0 game. GameDay has a long season ahead with the 12-team College Football Playoff. Week 0 games are fun to watch, but it is understandable that ESPN does not want to do an international show.
Back in May, ESPN announced where the first two shows will be in Week 1 and Week 2. GameDay is attending the Clemson Tigers at LSU Tigers game in Week 1 and the Ohio State Buckeyes at Texas Longhorns game in Week 2.
GameDay recently announced it would attend the Ole Miss Rebels' highly anticipated home game against the LSU Tigers in Week 3. Former Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin returns to his old team after his dramatic exit ahead of last season's playoff.
After Week 3, GameDay has not scheduled any other locations for the rest of the season. However, we have predicted which college campus GameDay will attend every week during the 2026 college football season.
We predict GameDay will attend one Georgia Bulldogs game this fall when Georgia hits the road to play the Alabama Crimson Tide on Oct. 10. GameDay's best shot at going to UGA is the Bulldogs' Week 4 game against Oklahoma, but if GameDay attends Georgia-Oklahoma, then that would mean the show would attend SEC campuses in four straight weeks to start the season.
College GameDay 2026 announced locations
- Week 1: Clemson at LSU (Baton Rouge, Louisiana)
- Week 2: Ohio State at Texas (Austin, Texas)
- Week 3: LSU at Ole Miss (Oxford, Mississippi)
