ESPN 'College GameDay' to attend Ole Miss-LSU in Week 3

ESPN's "College GameDay" is entering its 40th season and is set to have its 500th show on the road during the 2026 college football season. ESPN officially announced on Friday that the pregame show will be in Oxford, Mississippi, for the Week 3 matchup between the Ole Miss Rebels and the LSU Tigers.

It will be the return of former Ole Miss head coach Lane Kiffin, who left the Rebels following the 2025 regular season to take over LSU, despite the Rebels making their first appearance in the College Football Playoff. The game is set to start at 6:30 p.m. CT and will be on ABC.

Ole Miss is now led by Pete Golding, who served as the interim after Kiffin led and helped them reach the semifinals of the playoffs. The Rebels are the No. 10 team in the preseason US LBM Coaches poll, and the Tigers are No. 13.

It is Ole Miss' third time hosting GameDay, with the first coming back in 2014 when they beat the Alabama Crimson Tide 23-17. The second time was in 2021, with the Rebels beating the Texas A&M Aggies 29-19.

GameDay also confirmed that they will be in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, for the No. 23 Clemson Tigers at No. 13 LSU Tigers game in Week 1. They will then head to Austin, Texas, in Week 2 to watch the No. 1 Ohio State Buckeyes play the No. 4 Texas Longhorns.
