Less than two months after ESPN College Gameday was in Eugene for the Oregon Ducks' Week 7 bout with the Indiana Hoosiers, college football's most popular pregame show has once again decided to head to Eugene in Week 13.
This time, it will be an equally pivotal matchup with the Ducks (9-1) taking on the USC Trojans, who come in with an 8-2 record and harbor hopes of sneaking into the College Football Playoff with wins over Oregon and the UCLA Bruins in the season finale. Both the Trojans and Ducks have 6-1 records in the Big Ten.
GameDay, featuring Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit, Desmond Howard, Pat McAfee, Nick Saban and a guest picker, travels to the campus of the top game each week. Launched in 1993, the show has evolved into one of the most popular pregame shows in sports.

Former Oregon women's basketball star and current New York Liberty guard Sabrina Ionescu was the guest picker in Week 7, with someone else presumably taking the stage this time around.
There were several other enticing matchups in Week 13 prior to Week 12's action, which saw the Cincinnati Bearcats and Pitt Panthers fall, spoiling their potential top-25 matchups with the BYU Cougars and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, respectively.
In the FCS, Gameday had several intriguing options as well. Harvard and Yale top the conference standings in the Ivy League, with the former entering with an undefeated 9-0 record and the latter coming in at 7-2. The other is Montana taking on Montana State in an in-state rivalry game. Montana is 10-0 while Montana State is 8-2.
But in the end, the Gameday crew decided on Eugene, where the Ducks and Trojans will battle in a game ripe with CFP implications. The show begins at 6:00 a.m. PST.
