One of the highlights of every ESPN "College GameDay" show is at the end of the telecast, when the experts make their weekly selections for that Saturday's contests. Of course, it's not the same anymore, when Coach Lee Corso would don a mascot's head for his big selection. It was always neat when he would put on the Oregon Duck head.

Even without Corso in the mix, relative newcomer Pat McAfee will always make some sort of spectacle for the big pick of the week. In the past, he's done this by standing on a chair and ripping his shirt off alongside Oregon coach Dan Lanning.

Whiile the Ducks aren't the featured team for this week's 'GameDay,' they are still involved in one of the most high-profile matchups of the week with a showdown against the USC Trojans on Saturday night. After a 2-1 start, Oregon is virtually playing to keep its College Football Playoff hopes alive, while the Trojans are looking to keep head coach Lincoln Riley away from the hot seat.

It's one of the more intriguing matchups of the week, and the GameDay crew talked about it and ultimately gave their picks on which team will win the game. Here's how it shook out.

Desmond Howard: USC Trojans

Pat McAfee: USC Trojans

Nick Saban:Oregon Ducks

Kirk Herbstreit: Oregon Ducks

Johnny Knoxville (guest picker): USC Trojans
