The Georgia Bulldogs play the Arkansas Razorbacks at noon ET on Saturday, Sept. 19, at Donald W. Reynolds Razorback Stadium in Fayetteville, Arkansas. The Georgia-Arkansas game will be televised on ABC.
No. 2 Georgia (2-0, 0-0 SEC) plays Arkansas (1-1, 0-0 SEC) in the SEC opener for both teams. Georgia has not faced a Power Four opponent yet this season, while Arkansas is coming off their first game against a formidable opponent. Last week, Utah outscored Arkansas 22-0 in the second quarter en route to a 43-10 win over the Razorbacks. To add insult to injury, the Razorbacks did not return home until the early hours of Sunday morning.
"Humility is always a week away," Georgia coach Kirby Smart said ahead of the Arkansas game. "It's a tough environment for regardless of where you play in the SEC."
Georgia is back-to-back defending SEC champions and while Arkansas has not won an SEC game since 2024, so the game is a mismatch on paper. However, Arkansas has the advantage of playing at home and will be very motivated to play better than last week.
Will Georgia beat Arkansas? ESPN's prediction
Georgia is 25-point road favorites against Arkansas. ESPN's matchup predictor, which factors in how teams have played, football power index and other variables, gives Georgia a 96.0% chance to defeat Arkansas. The Razorbacks have a 4.0% chance of beating Georgia. ESPN considers Arkansas to be Georgia's most likely road win for the rest of the regular season.
