Three Florida A&M football players earned Southwestern Athletic Conference postseason honors.
Daniel Porto, a junior kicker, was the only Rattler representative to make the All-SWAC First Team.
The junior went 17-of-21 on field goals and made a season-long 51-yarder in FAMU’s Week 8 victory over Alcorn State. Porto also made 23 of 27 extra points.
The biggest name for FAMU on the All-SWAC awards is Ashton Grable, who made the second team for offensive linemen. The redshirt senior is one of HBCU’s top prospects for the 2026 NFL Draft next April.
The Gordon, Georgia native has been named an HBCU All-American and will play in next February’s HBCU Legacy Bowl in New Orleans.
Redshirt senior linebacker Jason Riles Jr. is on the All-SWAC Second Team. He led FAMU with 77 tackles, eight tackles for loss, three tackles for loss, and added 1.5 sacks and a forced fumble.
FAMU football finished its 2025 season with a 5-7 overall record and 4-4 in the SWAC after losing its season finale 35-31 to Mississippi Valley State.
It’s the Rattlers’ first time having a losing record since the 2017 season, when they went 3-8.
