FanDuel Odds Have Notre Dame On The Cusp Of Going Undefeated

Our friends over at FanDuel have released their initial lines for over/under win totals for all of the Power 4 schools ahead of the 2026 season. Obviously, all of these lines are subject to change, but the Notre Dame Fighting Irish and the Texas Tech Red Raiders are the only teams, as of now, that have their lines set at O/U 11.5 wins.
Unfortunately, I don't think FanDuel thinks much of Notre Dame's regular season schedule. Based on the O/U's that have been set for their 12 regular season game, FanDuel thinks only four of their opponents will be bowl-eligible come season's end. I think that number will, at the minimum, be bumped up to five after they release the line for the Navy Midshipmen; I doubt Rice will have their line set at 6.5 wins for the 2026 season.

Wisconsin Badgers: O/U 6.5 wins
Rice Owls: N/A
Michigan State Spartans: O/U 3.5 wins
Purdue Boilermakers: O/U 3.5 wins
North Carolina Tarheels: O/U 4.5 wins
Stanford Cardinal: O/U 3.5 wins
BYU Cougars: O/U 8.5 wins
Navy Midshipmen: N/A
Miami Hurricanes: O/U 10.5 wins
Boston College Eagles: O/U 3.5 wins
SMU Mustangs: O/U 8.5 wins
Syracuse Orange: O/U 4.5 wins
FanDuel also released their over/under win totals for teams in every P4 conference. Some lines were more interesting than others, with some of the usual suspects remaining at the top of each. Texas Tech is the only other team in the field that are have their line set at 11.5 wins. Other teams have a pretty low over/under that I think are favorable. Houston at 7.5, Clemson at 7.5, Oklahoma at 7.5 are all pretty enticing lines.
