Fireworks at the Fiesta Bowl: Fans react to Kewan Lacy’s crazy first-half touchdown

GLENDALE — Fireworks were here early in the Valley, as Ole Miss had one of the most exciting plays early in the Fiesta Bowl against Miami.

Down 3-0, the Rebels looked to overcome the Hurricanes’ dominant defense to get themselves on the board. It wasn’t a flashy throw that got the score, but quick feet.

Quarterback Trinidad Chambliss gave the ball to running back Kewan Lacy for a 75-yard run and State Farm Stadium exploded.

The play garnered a lot of social media attention as well, with football fans from all over with their eyes glued to the play as it was unfolding.

Miami takes the slight edge here at halftime against Ole Miss in the Fiesta Bowl, 17-13, but neither team has been able to go on a run to swing momentum completely in its favor.
